What Type Of Garments Can We Screen Print On?

There are plenty of garments our there made up of different types of materials. Not all of these garments can be printed on. Screen printing should work on any garment that is flat and is able to hold up to temperatures of 350 degrees. At our screen printing facility our most common ink is called plastisol, which tends cures at a temperature of 350 degrees Fahrenheit. This means that if the garment will melt at a temperature of 350 degrees, we can not print on it. Some common screen printed items are t-shirts, hoodies, sweatpants and tote bags.

What Type Of Garments Can We Embroider?

Unlike screen printing, embroidery is achieved by placing the garment, cap, or fabric into a hoop and a inserted onto a machine. Once on the embroidery machine a sewing needle sews a design onto the garment at lightning speed. Since there is no ink involved, rather a sewing needle, the garment does not have to be flat. Also, there is no heat involved so most materials should be able to be embroidered. Some common embroidered items are polo shirts, hats, beanies and bags.

How Long Does It Us To Fulfill An Order?

One of our highest priority here at NY NJ Screen Printing is to make our customers happy, that means we do our best to get orders “out the door” as earlier than our deadlines. Generally speaking, most orders have a deadline of 7-10 business days after the order is placed (order is placed when payment is processed and artwork is approved). We do make exceptions to our turn around time and do accept rush orders (for a fee).

Do We Have A Minimum?

Yes we do have a minimum for both screen printing orders and embroidery orders. Our minimum for screen printing is 48 pieces on single color jobs and 72 pieces on 2+ colors. Our minimum for embroidery orders is 12 pieces.
